Out in the field, we are harvesting the last of the peppers today! It's been a glorious summer of bell peppers, Jimmy Nardello peppers, and shish*to peppers. We've been able to share them at the market and Gaining Ground Grocery as well as with our partners at Metropolitan Ministries and the JA Henry YMCA.

If you are still making payments or accepting refunds by paper check to the IRS, it's time to update your process!

Starting 9/30/25, the iRS will no longer issue paper refund checks OR accept paper checks for tax payments.

Payroll tax payments for businesses can be made using the EFTPS.gov web site.

Estimated tax payments and personal tax payments can be made online at https://www.irs.gov/payments

Effective September 30, 2025, the IRS will no longer issue refund checks or accept paper checks for tax payments. To avoid delays, switch to an electronic option now: Direct Deposit for refunds and IRS Direct Pay/EFTPS for payments. Limited exceptions may apply.
