Custom tile, two very different vibes. 🧱

For the primary bathroom, we laid a special-order black and white tile with a hand-edged border — clean, classic, and built to last.

Down the hall, the kids' bathroom got the fun treatment: bold, colorful tile with its own custom border to match. Same craftsmanship, different personality.

Every piece here was special order, which means extra care in the layout and cuts to get those borders lining up just right. This is the kind of detail work we love sinking our teeth into.

Built to Last, Built from History — Privateer Yacht Club

We did a custom built-in for the clubhouse at Privateer Yacht Club — a combination bookcase, AV center, and trophy case, all in one piece.

The wood tells its own story: this is antique heart pine, milled from floor joists salvaged out of a building being torn down on 11th Street in downtown Chattanooga. Heart pine like this doesn't come from a lumber yard — it comes from old-growth timber, the kind that built this region a century or more ago, and it's almost impossible to find today.

We brought that material back to life as a single built-in piece, sized and detailed specifically for PYC's clubhouse — a place to display trophies, house the AV gear, and hold the books, all built from wood that's been part of Chattanooga's history for over a hundred years.

Some pieces are just furniture. This one carries a little bit of the city with it.

A Lupton City Mill House, Reborn

This one-bedroom, one-bath house was built in the 1920s for workers at the Dixie Spinning Mills — one of the original Lupton City mill houses, with all the history that comes with it. Our job was to bring it into the present without losing what made it special.

We reworked the floor plan, converting the old kitchen into a second bedroom and opening up the main room into a combined living and kitchen space — giving the home better flow and more flexibility for renters. Throughout, we added custom built-ins, including a kitchen island built from reclaimed wood and beadboard pulled from the house itself. Same materials, new purpose.

A century-old mill house with a layout that works for today, and a few pieces of its own history built right back in.

1966 Airstream, Reimagined
This 1966 Airstream came to us in bad shape on the inside — a shell with a lot of potential and not much else. The owners wanted a space that could flex between weekend family trips and the occasional rental, so we rebuilt it from the metal studs out: new kitchen, bathroom, bed, and dining area, all custom-built to fit the footprint.

Every cabinet, every surface, every inch of storage was custom-made for this exact trailer — nothing off-the-shelf other than appliances. Our favorite detail: the dining seat converts into a second bed, comfortably sleeping one adult or two small kids, so the layout works whether it's a couple's getaway or the whole family piling in.

Proud of how this one turned out.
