Today we're celebrating one of our hardworking Superintendents here at Robert Roberts LLC, Jeff Coder!

Jeff has been a valued part of our team, helping oversee work at the Dade County Elections Building and now taking on the ongoing renovations at Wi******er City Hall. We appreciate the hard work, dedication, and experience he brings to every project!

When he's not busy keeping things running on the jobsite, you can find Jeff enjoying life on the farm with his wife, spending time with their horses, and gathering farm-fresh eggs. 🐴🥚 And if you ask nicely, you might just be lucky enough to get a dozen delivered your way!

Jeff also recently had the special honor of celebrating his youngest daughter's wedding, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to show off just how sharp he cleans up! Looking good, Jeff! 🤠👏

Yesterday, October 13th, marked our anniversary—the day Robert Roberts LLC was conceived in 2015. As we celebrate 11 years in business, we want to take a moment to recognize the people who are the foundation of Robert Roberts LLC.

🔨 WEEKLY PROJECT UPDATE | COPPER BASIN BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

The last time we shared an update from the Copper Basin Boys & Girls Club, the building was still waiting for work to begin. Since then, it’s safe to say things look a little different around here!

The first phase has been all about making way for what’s next. Crews have removed interior walls, flooring, concrete, outdated HVAC systems, electrical components and plumbing that no longer fit the plan. We even opened a section of the exterior basement wall and excavated a new access path into the building.

Now, the fun part is starting: putting it all back together. 👷‍♂️

Underground plumbing is in, concrete has been backfilled, and electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-ins are underway. New doorways, rooms and spaces are beginning to take shape with framing, and we’ve already moved through framing inspection. Overhead, new ceilings are going in, while insulation and drywall are starting to close everything up.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but this project has officially crossed that satisfying point where you can start to see the future building hiding inside the construction site.

We’re excited to keep watching this space transform into a place that will serve the kids and families of the Copper Basin community! 🏗️

A project with purpose. 🏗️

We were proud to attend yesterday’s unveiling of the newly renovated and expanded Hamilton County Juvenile Court lobby and reception area.
This project was about much more than updating a building. The improvements create a safer, more accessible, welcoming and functional space for the children, families, staff and community members who walk through these doors every day.

We’re grateful to Hamilton County for trusting Robert Roberts LLC to help bring this project to life, and proud of our team, Jason Potts especially, and trade partners whose hard work made it possible.

Thank you to the Chattanooga Times Free Press for highlighting the completed project and the impact these improvements will have on our community!

Hamilton County Juvenile Court unveiled a roughly $2.2 million renovation Tuesday that officials said improves security, accessibility and privacy at the nearly 40-year-old Courthouse.

🏗️ PROJECT UPDATE | Dade County Elections Building

The Dade County Elections Building is really starting to take shape! Over the past couple of months, crews have made major progress both inside and out as the project moves further into the finishing stages.

The exterior is coming together with the standing seam metal roof, painted soffits, gutters, storefront, sidewalks, and parking lot light poles all going in. Inside, there’s been just as much progress with painted walls, ceiling grid and tile, lighting, millwork, restroom tile and fixtures, interior aluminum windows, wood doors, and the start of LVT flooring.

HVAC condensers have also been installed, plumbing fixtures are receiving their finishing touches, and signage work is underway.

It’s exciting to see all of these individual pieces come together and the Dade County Elections Building look more and more like the finished facility with each update!

🏛️ WEEKLY PROJECT UPDATE | WI******ER CITY HALL

This week, we’re checking back in at Wi******er City Hall, where progress continues on a project that requires a little more patience, precision, and planning than your typical renovation.

Working with a historic building means there’s no rushing the process. Every phase has to be approached carefully, with specific requirements for what can be altered, how work is performed, and how the existing structure is protected along the way. With an anticipated construction timeline of approximately two years, this one is all about slow, steady, and intentional progress.

Over the past six weeks, crews have continued demolition throughout the site, including removal of the vestibule and exterior brick, abatement work at the vestibule, demolition of the sidewalk and south-side ramp, and removal of the remaining concrete along the northwest side. Crews have also been cutting out unsuitable soil and completing exterior rough grading and compaction to prepare for the work ahead.

Right now, a lot of the progress at Wi******er City Hall is about what’s being carefully removed and what’s happening beneath the surface. Each of these steps is laying the groundwork for the transformation to come while respecting the history of the building we’re working with.

There’s still a long road ahead on this one, but we’re excited to watch it take shape one carefully completed phase at a time. 🏗️🏛️
