πŸŽ‰ One Year Down, Chad! πŸŽ‰

It’s hard to believe it's already been a year since Chad Smith joined the Robert Roberts LLC team!

In his first year, Chad has helped lead projects across the region, seeing jobs like EPB OC East, the EPB Lobby Renovation, Skillern Elementary School, and the Skillern Portable Classrooms through completion. These days, you'll find him staying busy on projects including the Dade County Elections Building, CADAS Women's Treatment Center, and CADAS Sober Living Apartments.

If you've worked with Chad, you know he's not the kind of Project Manager who stays behind a desk for long. He prefers to be out on the jobsite, checking progress, building relationships, solving problems, and making sure things keep moving forward. His hands-on approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made him a valuable part of our team.

This year has been a big one outside of work too. Chad and his wife moved into a new home, and he got to experience one of life's proudest moments as he watched his daughter graduate with her Nursing Degree.

As a retired National Guard veteran, Chad brings a strong sense of dedication, leadership, and service to everything he does. Whether he's managing a project, helping a teammate, or supporting a client, he approaches it with integrity and commitment.

Chad, thank you for an incredible first year. We're grateful for everything you've brought to our company and can't wait to see what Year Two has in store.

Happy 1-Year Anniversary! We're glad you're part of the Robert Roberts family! πŸŽ‰πŸ πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈ

Today marks one year since I joined the team at Robert Roberts LLC, and it’s hard to believe how quickly that time has passed.

Over the last 12 months, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in so many different aspects of our company. From managing social media and sharing project updates, to assisting with marketing efforts, licensing and compliance, company documentation, employee resources, and supporting our project teams behind the scenes, every day has brought something new to learn.

One of my favorite parts of this role has been helping tell the story of the work we do. I've had the privilege of highlighting projects such as the Chattanooga Skate Park, CADAS Women’s Treatment Center, CADAS Sober Living Apartments, Dade County Elections Building, EPB projects, and many others that are helping shape and strengthen the communities we serve.

When I started here a year ago, I never imagined how much I would learn or how much I would grow both professionally and personally. This company has challenged me, encouraged me, trusted me with new responsibilities, and given me opportunities to develop skills I didn't know I was capable of.
When I started here a year ago, I was looking for a job. What I found was an opportunity to grow, learn, and become part of something bigger than myself.

I am incredibly grateful to Robert (Dad) and Angela Roberts (Mom) for believing in me and investing in my growth. Thank you to our project managers, superintendents, office staff, clients, and trade partners who have shared their knowledge, patience, and support along the way.

It's been an amazing first year filled with lessons learned, relationships built, and milestones achieved. I’m proud to be part of a team that values hard work, integrity, and serving our community through the projects we build.

Thank you for an unforgettable first year. I’m excited to see what the next chapter holds. πŸ€—βœ¨

A few months ago, the Dade County Elections Building was little more than a foundation and a secure records vault. Today, it's starting to look like the facility it was designed to be.

Since April, significant progress has been made, including completed structural framing, roof installation, interior wall framing, and the start of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins. Exterior brickwork is now underway, and an electrical rough-in inspection is scheduled for Monday as the project continues to move forward.

One of the most exciting parts of construction is watching a set of plans become a real, functional space. As you walk through the building now, you can see individual rooms taking shape, utility systems being installed, and the framework that will soon support the finished facility serving Dade County for years to come.

We're proud to be part of bringing this important community project to life and look forward to sharing more progress as construction continues!

What's your favorite stage of construction to watch: foundation, framing, or seeing the finishing touches come together? Let us know below! πŸ‘‡πŸ—οΈ

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 2 Years with Angela Roberts! πŸŽ‰

Today, we're proud to celebrate the 2-year work anniversary of our Chief Financial Officer, Angela Roberts.

After retiring from a successful career in education, Angela joined Robert Roberts LLC and stepped into a role that has become absolutely vital to our continued growth and success. As CFO, she oversees the financial side of our company with dedication, professionalism, and an incredible attention to detail, helping ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.

Of course, Angela also carries the important responsibility of being married to our Owner and President, Robert Roberts, which we're sure deserves a little extra recognition all on its own! 😊

We're proud to be part of the team bringing the new Chattanooga Skate Park to life!

This Chattanooga Times Free Press update features California Skateparks discussing the design and flow of the park, along with comments from our own Cameron Blankenship, Superintendent for Robert Roberts LLC.

Take a look behind the scenes at the vision, planning, and progress that are transforming this space into a destination for skaters across the region. πŸ›Ή

What feature are you looking forward to trying out first?

A building becomes a home one detail at a time, and the CADAS Sober Living Apartments are quickly moving into that final stretch.

Over the past several months, major progress has continued across the project. Drywall and siding installation have been completed, the roof is finished, stairs and handrails are in place, and awnings are beginning to take shape. Inside, painting and millwork are underway, bringing warmth and character to the spaces that will soon welcome residents.

Behind the scenes, essential infrastructure has also been completed, including water taps, sewer tie-ins, and electrical work. With only the power meter installation remaining, another important milestone is just around the corner.

It's exciting to see this project transform from a construction site into a place that will provide stability, support, and a fresh start for so many individuals in our community.

This one is about more than construction. It's about creating a place where new chapters can begin.❀️

What part of a project do you enjoy seeing most: the structural work, the finishing touches, or the moment it all comes together?

Concrete has been flying at the Chattanooga Skate Park these past few weeks, and the vision is starting to look less like lines on paper and more like a place built for motion, community, and creativity. πŸ›Ή

California Skateparks has poured an impressive 150-200 yards of concrete over the last three weeks alone. The large bowl is continuing to take shape with walls and ramps now poured, along with the pool feature. Near the hockey rink, multiple ramps, rails, and sloped features have also been poured, bringing even more personality and flow to the park.

Meanwhile, Yerbey Concrete has been making major progress on the roof structure, completing the bottom layer and rebar work from the back radius to the front. Once electricians finish running conduit, forming for the top layer will begin.

Every week this project gets a little louder, a little bolder, and a little closer to becoming a space Chattanooga will be proud to roll into for years to come. πŸ”₯

Which feature are you most excited to see finished first? πŸ‘€
