In the heart of downtown, Chattanooga's Innovation District is approximately a quarter mile walk radius from the intersection of M.L. This area includes many of Chattanooga’s main downtown public spaces such as Miller Park and Miller Plaza, which is currently in the process of a redesign to increase usability. Anchoring the Innovation District Is The Edney Innovation Center, a 90,000 square foot,

10-story building at the corner of Market and 11th Streets, serving as a connecting point, support base and catalyst for the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We are so excited to learn more about from James Lima next week!

CIVIQ is a quarterly event which introduces and humanizes national and international movements in urban design by showcasing visionary work being done by practitioners in other cities. With each free and public event, we aim to position Chattanoogans to leave feeling inspired, informed, and activated. More than a lecture, each event is intended to equip the city to think differently about challenges faced in our community.
