When we started this company a year ago, we knew that we were prepared to help bring a new vision to the city of Chattanooga. That only comes, however, through hard work and intense dedication.

We want to congratulate the new City Councilman Isiah Hester for District 5. We're so thankful that we were brought in to work with Isiah and his wife, Patrice, to build stronger families and communities in District 5. Isiah and his family are incredible people, and we know that he will represent District 5 well on city council with the highest honor.

We want to again thank Councilwoman-Elect Raquetta Dotley for trusting us to help her along her path to victory. Raquetta is a shining example of what it means to be a leader alongside your community. She is already doing incredible things for this city, and we can't wait to see all that this new leadership will accomplish together.

Last but not least, congratulations to Tim Kelly for Chattanooga on this historic win for Mayor. We are overjoyed at the strong, powerful coalition he has formed in preparation to lead with his best foot forward. We know that Tim and his wife, Ginny, have an immense love for this city just as we do. We can't wait to see all the great things they will accomplish together. Special congrats to Tim's team of young, bright individuals that worked endlessly hard to pull this win off.

If you ever doubted the significance of millennials in the political arena, think again. We are a team of young people with a common love for this city and, most importantly, its people. This is just the beginning for us and for Chattanooga, as we have so much more work to get done. Thank you to everyone who participated in any way during this election cycle. We are stronger together.

Of the many lessons 2020 taught us, the power of our vote is one that rings loud and clear. Come March 2, voters in Chattanooga will have the opportunity to influence change on a local level.

Beyond simply voting, we need to vote for candidates who believe in and support our humanity by defending our rights, and are determined to make our communities better, safer, and stronger.

The Equity Alliance Fund is proud to announce its support of these candidates who are committed to doing the work on the Chattanooga City Council:

District 5 - Dennis Clark For City Council District 5
District 7 - Raquetta Dotley for Chattanooga City Council District 7
District 8 - Marie Mott for District 8
District 9 - Demetrus Coonrod City Council D9
