by a large marina off of the Tennessee River to sand and paint hull bottoms. With the love of being next to the water, and not being intimidated by hard work, he spent nearly a decade operating a travel lift for survey hauls and unloading transport trailers. He repaired hulls, replaced running gear, serviced engines and performed other yard duties. As a Parts and Service Advisor, his effort was unmatched. He would dig as deep as it took to uncover hard to locate items for their service department as well as working side by side with over the counter customers sometimes surviving on their last fume of hope. He enjoys leading new boaters to safer practices and building their confidence just as much as learning new techniques from the old salts. Jeremy likes to say “With a boat, you either learn it, or it will teach you all on its own''. His vacations were spent traveling the Atlantic Coast and in the Gulf of Mexico enjoying fishing charters, snorkeling and exploring different marinas to see the yachts they harbored. It wasn’t very long before he was moving aboard his own sailboat and living the lifestyle for himself. When Dockmaster, Jeremy always added a personal touch while catering to new boaters and seasoned yachtsmen alike, and is a true professional in the industry. He really enjoyed acting as a beacon for turned around transients navigating to their mooring for the night and would even loan guests his vehicle. He spends time with other experienced yacht owners cruising the beautiful waterways of the Tennessee River, operating different types of systems and learning different styles of boating to be had. He has owned many boats at this point but mostly enjoys nights on the hook with his wife and dogs aboard their sailboat. In 2023 he left the marina as Parts Manager to pursue yacht brokerage and now represents Gulf Coast Yacht Group.
