I worked a few hours this morning up Signal Mountain.. This trim is less than 5 yeara old..

Its all twisted/buckled and rotten

The new trim is 100% real timber.. Weather proof primed both sides and sprayed with weatherproof paint to match color.

Ive never been an MDF fan.. Even less of a fan when its used outside. This trim is less than 5 years old, twisted, buckled and falling apart. Its coming off....

Wow.. Just wow.. 2 contractors working for Lowes installed tgos water heater.. And left a leak..

Look at that pipework😳😳

The copper pipes have been bent by hand to fit the water heater.. Instead of being cut and new fittings added..

This cold water pipe was only in 3/16th.. Needless to say it eventually blew..

Someone cant solder. The green is most likely from flux that has been left on the pipe and fittings. There are 4 seperate leaks on this pipe

More scary stuff.. 2 joists completely cut through.. And one only had 1/2" left.. One of the joists cut this week by a local plumbing company 😳

Needless to say it couldnt stay like that.. So I spent 6 hours today installing new timber frame work and 2x layers of 3/4" ply (glued and screwed) to give the floor some strength back

Joists are structural people.. You cant just cut them out if they are in the way..

They call them "spreader plates" because they spread the load.. This 2" off cut of pipe is working its way into the beam over a period of time.. And it's not finished yet
