He was an amazing person. Over time, she was motivated to return to college and explore the business world. Working in customer service and going to school full-time while raising a child developed a unique work ethic and time management skills. After graduating from R.I.T in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree, she didn't know what to do or where to put her skills to use. In 2003, she crossed paths wit
h that amazing plumber again. They shared stories of the time that had passed since their last meeting. He told her of the plumbing mysteries he had solved, the companies he had worked for, and some the self-proclaimed "expert" plumbers with which he had worked. As a career plumber, he felt all alone in the plumbing industry because life long plumbers are almost extinct. His career started in vocational technical school in 1988 while working as a stock boy at a plumbing supply house. Over the years, he worked as a new construction plumbing installer, a service technician for commercial and residential property and, finally, as a general manager. Many technicians these days have cleared a drain or fixed a leaky pipe or maybe have a couple of years of experience fixing minor problems for family members and decided that they would like to be a plumber. They talked of building a company that would provide a comprehensive range of services performed by trained, professional trades people to the property owners in Chattanooga and the Tennessee Valley. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, HVAC specialists, landscapers and concrete experts working together to offer a solution to any property problem. They realized that, in order to build and grow this business, they had to accomplish three things:
1. Attract Customers: offer the best value in the market.
2.Keep Customers: thorough array of services.
3.Get Recommendations: provide outstanding customer service. South East Total Service, LLC was created from the discussions and the combined education and experience of Michele and John Alier. Two people, who started out as a single mom and a stock boy, traveled the road of life gaining education and experience to become a business owner and a Master Plumber.
