FinCEN BOI Deadline Clarification

We recently sent out a “Drake Software Insider” email that stated that the FinCEN BOI filing deadline is March 21, 2025; however, that deadline will not be enforced.

FinCEN announced that it will not impose fines, penalties, or take other enforcement actions against companies for failing to file or update beneficial ownership information (BOI) reports by the current deadlines under the Corporate Transparency Act. Additional guidance is expected to be released by March 21, 2025. Review the full announcement on the fincen.gov website.
