Time for a PSA. I just saw a post from Thomas Smelser who gave me the best advice ever when I was $30,000 in credit card debt and felt like I was drowning. This was...15 years ago? (can that be right?) They are a non-profit credit counseling firm and I highly recommend them. Don't let credit card debt destroy you. It CAN be resolved. It's hard work, but after 4 years of eating beans and rice I was debt free and acquired new helpful habits that has kept me on course all these years. They were kind and helpful.

Clearpoint is a national, nonprofit agency offering free credit counseling, budgeting help, bankruptcy counseling, and housing counseling.
