From Nowata Fire Department

We would like to give a huge thank you to Chelsea Fire and Northwest Fire for your willingness to assist the Nowata Fire Department today.

With the City of Nowata’s water system temporarily out of service, both departments responded with tanker’s and stood by in our community, providing an additional 5,500 gallons of water to ensure we remained prepared to protect our citizens if an emergency occurred.

This is a true example of the strength of the fire service and the value of mutual aid. Your professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to serving others did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.

Thank you for always being willing to answer the call. We are proud to stand alongside you as partners in protecting our communities.

Respectfully,

Brandon M. Jarvis
Fire Chief
Nowata Fire Department

🚨 POWER OUTAGE UPDATE 🚨

7/7/26
7:18 PM

ALL OUTAGES RESTORED.

Crews have restored all 8,770 outages following the July 4th storm.

Special thanks to Indian Electric Cooperative and Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative for their willingness to provide Mutual Aid and for showing what being a cooperative is all about.

We know being without power is never easy, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and kind words as our crews worked through the storm damage.

Thank you for supporting every member of the team working around the clock to safely restore power. From those in the field to those working behind the scenes, your encouragement means more than you know. We’re truly grateful to serve such an incredible membership.
