REMINDER From

We're ready for the big egg hunt tomorrow! Yep! We're still having it. The only way we will not have it is if it is pouring rain and/or lightening tomorrow. So put your kiddos in clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and let's have some fun. These kiddos might love "Egg Hunt Mudfest 2026!" Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Please help us get the word out! We have a ton of candy and goodies for the kids.

🚨🚨Roadway Closure🚨🚨

The Andy Payne Route 66 Half Marathon will be taking place tomorrow, Saturday April 11th.

Both lanes on the west bound side of 66 will be closed for the course. Traffic will be routed to the East bound lanes. Making the East bound side of 66 a two lane road for West and East bound traffic for the duration of the race.

The road closures will begin at 6am tomorrow and remain in effect till 1pm.

66 West bound traffic will merge to East bound lanes in Foyil, just north of 410 at Andy Payne Circle. And merge back into West bound lanes after Lowry Road.

RCSO deputies will be positioned at and blocking all traffic at the below intersections.

1. East bound traffic at E410 and 66
2. South bound traffic at S4190 and 66
3. East bound traffic at E430 and 66
4. South bound traffic at S4180 and 66
5. East bound traffic at E450 and 66
6. South bound traffic at S4170 and 66
7. South bound traffic at S 4160 and 66
8. East and West bound traffic at Sioux and Lowry
9. North, South and East bound traffic at Sioux and Blue Star

‼️SCAM‼️

We just wanted to inform you all of several reported scam texts being sent out. We have been contacted several times the last 24 hours regarding these texts from different entities.

Several are claiming to be from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, Service Oklahoma and even the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

These texts claim there are unpaid tolls, parking tickets or speeding violations, and if unpaid your license could be suspended.

We cannot stress this enough, none of these entities, or any law enforcement agency, will ever text you regarding unpaid fines, nor send you a link to obtain credit card information to pay them. Do not respond to these texts or click the links. Simply report them as spam if your phone allows and block the contact.

If anyone has fallen victim to these scams and given any information out, please contact us or your local law enforcement agency to file a report.

As much as we hate to do this, Project Chelsea feels it's best for the kiddos if we postpone the egg hunt until next Saturday the 11th. Please understand, this decision was not made lightly. We weighed the pros and cons then voted for what we thought would be best for everyone. So now, stay in and stay dry. Hopefully, we will see everyone next Saturday! Please help us get the word out!

We aren't postponing the egg hunt yet! We'll make a decision Saturday morning after checking out the ground at the park. We hate to postpone it but if we do then we'll move it to next weekend. We have LOTS of goodies for the kiddos.

Here we go! It's official! We're having a "Preview Opening" for our beautiful Museum. We welcome everyone to come by for a visit and see what we have done so far. We will be having our big grand opening this summer but we are ready to give a little preview now. We hope you can stop by!

Chelsea Public Schools voters will consider a Transportation Bond on the April 7 ballot. The district has published detailed information to help keep the community informed.

Here are a few key points:

What is it for?
To purchase school buses and transportation equipment.

Why is it being proposed?
To transition away from current bus lease payments and allow approximately $170,000 annually to be redirected to district operations.

How much is the bond?
$800,000

How will this affect me?
The estimated average impact on a $100,000 property for the 3-year term is approximately $17.34 per year (about $1.45 per month).

When do we vote?
April 7
Polls open 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
at local district precincts.
