Recently we hosted over 60 SFA Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture students at the forest. The students learned about our prescribed burn program, shortleaf pine, silviculture, and wildlife habitat management. Each year, we are fortunate to host and educate students from Stephen F. Austin State University.
