🚌 The Energy Bus with the City of Cherokee

Today was a great opportunity to spend time with the City of Cherokee employees as we wrapped up The Energy Bus experience together.

I want to say a sincere thank you to the men and women who show up every day to serve this community. The work you do isn't always easy, and much of it happens behind the scenes. But it matters. The work you do impacts the people who call Cherokee home.

What I appreciated most was the willingness to engage, have honest conversations, laugh together, and think about how each of us contributes to the culture of the organization.

The Energy Bus isn't simply about having a positive attitude. It's about taking ownership of the energy we bring, the way we treat one another, the choices we make, and the impact we have on the people around us.

Today wasn't about having all the answers.

It was about growing together as a team.

Thank you to the City of Cherokee for allowing me to be part of this journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside you, encourage you, and continue learning with you.

🚌 The Energy Bus for Schools — Session #2!
What a great time with the Junior High & High School staff at South O’Brien Schools!
In Session #2, we tackled the rules of The Energy Bus and, more importantly, brought them to life through meaningful conversation, interaction, and collaboration.
The engagement from this group was outstanding! They leaned in, shared their thoughts, challenged each other, and connected the principles to what they experience every day as educators and teammates.
I love watching these conversations come to life because positive culture doesn't happen by accident—it happens when people choose to be intentional about how they show up for one another.
It was a privilege and a lot of fun to encourage, engage, and equip the South O’Brien staff as they continue moving the bus forward! 🚌

Grateful for the opportunity to work with the VT Industries Finance Team!

A big thank you to the VT Industries Finance Team for inviting me to spend time with your team and facilitate a Power of a Positive Team Experience this week!

What stood out to me most was the team’s willingness to work together, embrace change, and continue moving forward—even when things get challenging.

Our time together focused on some important questions:

How do we think like an owner and bring value to the team?
How do we become more cohesive and help one another succeed?
How can we improve the way we work and create greater value?
Are we helping to make US better?

Great teams aren't built simply by working harder. They're built when people communicate, contribute, encourage one another, and take ownership of making the team better.
