I’m sorry, but the nails had to go 💅😅
I must admit, filming first ASMR video, did not go as expected.
This week, I decided to cover air dry clay with multiple layers of nail polish. This has been a recent trend going around lately that would be fun to try. Once dried to a certain point, the clay releases a satisfying cracking/popping noise when pressed into.
Six layers of nail polish and 3 days worth of drying time later, I popped on some stylish nails and started to film the results.
Although the nails looked professional, the ex*****on was a lot more harder than I thought! How am I supposed to crack this clay with these long nails!? At one point, I decided to rip them off and go in with my bare fingers. This actually resulted in a better sound and ability to fold the clay better.
When cracked into, it let more of a soft “pffft” then an actual crack. But the end results were still satisfying!
