Today we proudly celebrate the 7-year anniversary of Region Rents Sales & Service! What an incredible journey it has been so far.

From our humble beginnings at our Chesapeake location, to expanding with our Newport News location in late 2022, we’ve continued to grow and evolve. Now, we’ve set our sights on opening a third location as we expand throughout the 757.

Our success is built on the trust of our valued customers—those who understand the benefits of partnering with a locally owned provider—and the dedication of our amazing team. Our employees truly are family, and they know what it takes to make the rental process smooth, efficient, and reliable for our contractors. We take pride in doing what we say we’ll do and handling every challenge with urgency and care.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Region Rents, a locally owned and fast-growing equipment rental company, is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inside Counter Sales/Coordinator. If you’re eager to learn, enjoy working with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate equipment deliveries for the current and following day

Field incoming calls from current and prospective customers, including concrete, electrical, roofing, plumbing, demolition, drywall, and utility contractors

Provide knowledgeable recommendations on construction equipment and help customers select the right machines for their specific needs

Process and invoice rental contracts when equipment is returned and checked in by the service department

Direct calls to service, parts, accounting, and the outside sales team as needed

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Outgoing personality with strong customer service skills

A positive, team-oriented attitude

Eagerness to learn and grow within the fast-growing equipment rental industry

A customer sent us this photo yesterday—absolutely ecstatic with how our JLG R11000 made short work of erecting this building for Dominion Energy. Best of all, there was no need to bring in a separate crane company.

The R11000 set every one of these 60’ insulated roof panels using their suction attachment. Supporting the R11000 were (2) SkyTrak 6042s and (4) JLG 460SJs.

He was skeptical when we first recommended the R11000, but after seeing it in action he said:
“I won’t do another job of this scale without it.”

Always a great week at JLG’s manufacturing plant in Pennsylvania getting re-certified as a Train-the-Trainer instructor.

Keeping your valued employees safe, informed, familiarized and current with the proper credentials to operate MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) and telehandlers is essential. Region Rents is proud to now have four certified instructors and to offer the theory/classroom portion through e-learning, paired with in-person, hands-on training.
