5 Myths About Working with a Virtual Assistant! 👈
Today, I'd like to discuss a few myths about being a VA. Let's debunk some myths, shall we?! 🧐
✨Myth 1️: Virtual Assistants can do it all.
This is a tricky one. I'll put it this way, while one virtual assistant can do almost anything, a single virtual assistant can't do it all. I hope that makes sense! 😆 When a virtual assistant starts their business, they more than likely will try to do a lot of little things, but will eventually specialize in a specific area, such as social media, sales funnels, or project management.
✨Myth 2: Anyone can be a VA.
Being a VA is HARD! You have to have the proper skills to offer your clients, the drive to continue to find clients, and the chops to hang with some big entrepreneurs and deliver every day.
✨Myth 3: It's hard to communicate with your VA virtually.
WRONG! Have you ever had a corporate job where your boss or other team members are in a different office or different city? Technology has given us so many options when it comes to communication. Think of Slack, Zoom, Skype, Loom, or the trusty ol' telephone.
✨Myth 4: VA's can't do the things a "normal" assistant can do.
Now, I can't bring you coffee, true, but a VA can still tackle all of those techy jobs or day-to-day tasks just the same. Since VA's specialize in certain things, you can find the perfect "assistant" for you and get your own coffee. 😁
✨Myth 5: You need to hire a VA full-time.
Not true! Many VA's work on hourly packages or specialized packages based on your needs. You could start with as little as 10 hours a month and work your way up if needed.
So.....have you considered hiring a VA? I'm happy to chat if you have any questions. I'd love to hear from you.
