Today we honor Amin Abdullah, a true hero and warrior.

Amin, a father of eight and longtime security guard at the Islamic Center of San Diego, gave his life protecting others during a horrific attack. When armed suspects opened fire while 140 children were inside the mosque’s school, Amin stood his ground and confronted the danger instead of running. His actions bought precious time and helped protect those children and others inside.

From our Spartan family, we lift Amin, his family, and everyone affected by this tragedy up in prayer. May Your protection cover them, and may love always rise above hate.

Rest in power, Amin Abdullah. Your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🙏🛡️
