Team Spotlight: Kat Cantillo, Senior Project Manager

Every creative idea needs a foundation, and Kat Cantillo is our expert builder. As Virtuoso’s Senior Project Manager, she’s the steady force behind the scenes, turning vision into clarity and chaos into progress.

Her process starts with curiosity.

“I always dig into the ‘why’ first,” she says. “Understanding the client’s goals and what success looks like helps everything else fall into place. From there, it’s about crafting a roadmap–outlining roles, timelines, and expectations–so the team has a strong base to build on.”

Kat doesn’t see structure as the enemy of creativity. In fact, she sees it as essential. “If the team isn’t stressing over timelines or chasing feedback, they can just focus on the work. That’s when the magic happens.”

Of course, even the best-laid plans shift. Projects evolve. Priorities change. Kat’s response is flexibility, communication, and keeping the team centered.

“Pressure’s part of the job,” she asserts. “I focus on what I can control, stay solution-oriented, and make sure everyone’s in the loop.”

At its core, Kat’s work is deeply human. It’s not just project management. It’s people management. “It’s about understanding how people work, navigating feedback, and making sure everyone feels supported.”

Here's to the ones like Kat who make space for work to thrive and the structure that supports the spark.

Most teams stop at what’s measurable. We push into what’s memorable.

It’s not just about strategy. It’s about understanding what people feel and having the instinct to act on it.

That’s how you build brands that move people—movements that don’t follow trends, but set them.
