🚒 Meet the Face Behind Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department’s New & Updated page and Website!🚑

We’d like to introduce Jason Williams, the 15-year-old behind much of the work you’re seeing on our department’s page and website.

Jason officially joined CGVFD in May 2026, continuing a four-generation family legacy of service to our department. Although he’s young, Jason has already dedicated countless hours to helping CGVFD move forward.

He helps write articles for our page and assist in our website development, participates with projects, community outreach, parades, and events. He lends a hand wherever he’s needed. He has helped department administration organize administrative projects, assist with community events and parades, wash apparatus, and help wherever needed.

He is helping the department leadership plan our Open House on September 19, 2026.

Much of his work happens behind the scenes, but his dedication is helping us better connect with our community and share what Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is all about.

We also want to thank our community for the incredible compliments and support you have given our page and website. Much of what you see online is made possible by Jason’s work behind the scenes, helping keep our community informed, connected, and involved with CGVFD.

We’re proud of Jason and grateful for the time and effort he puts into CGVFD.

The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is proud to host our 1st Annual Public Safety & Community Open House! 🚒

Come out and spend the afternoon with your local first responders, community partners, and neighbors from across Rappahannock, Warren, and Fauquier Counties!

There will be emergency vehicle displays, public safety education, community resources, kids’ activities, food, and plenty of opportunities to meet the people who serve our communities.

This is a FREE family-friendly event, and everyone is welcome!
