Our CEO, Jeanne DiFrancesco and the Former Controller General, David Walker were just published in the Washington Times on the peril of the combination of the soaring debt and plummeting public confidence in American institutions. The reality is that our government uses management science that is decades old and is woefully inadequate to the scale of the challenges we now face. It is time to acknowledge the risks this poses to our global competitiveness and domestic stability and bring far more sophisticated management science to develop a government that literally “works” for the American people.
As we celebrate the 248th anniversary of our independence, the great American experiment in self-governance “of the people, by the people and for the people” is in peril.
