Hi, I'm Emma Jane
-I'm the seventeen year old behind Peachy Prints! I know... I run a small business while in high school and before I'm a legal adult, but I absolutely love it! There was never an opportunity for me to express myself through an art club or even people with shared interest at my high school, so I just decided to start this business. It was a risk, it still is a challenge, but I am so thankful that I did it. It has allowed me to grow in unimaginable ways. I've gotten the opportunity to connect with different people and experience unique events that have allowed me to understand the value in diversity, challenges, and change. I can say that this decision truly changed my life because it created a path for me that gave me the exposure to different individuals that allowed me to feel seen and heard. I always felt like I had to act "different" at school or around friends to fit in, like no one truly understood me, but with this account and business I am able to be authentic. I can share myself in ways that feel best to me, I can post content that resonates with me, and I can connect and get feedback from people who appreciate what I am creating and how I am as my real self. The internet and business world is a powerful place, and I am so glad I took the chance on myself and chose to engage in it! So, to anyone unsure about starting a business, sharing their art, or posting themself on social media, I say just go for it because change only results in growth!
