What an amazing time for gold! ~$5,000 Au/oz. The weather has been amazing. I've been able to get a lot more done without the usual winter issues. My projects are moving along smoothly. On schedule. If you need help, I have some time.

At approximately 1:15 am, Tuesday, June 20, a fire broke out in apartment #4 above the Advanced Geologic office and rapidly spread to adjacent apartments #3 and #5. Smoke billowed into Apartments #1 and #2 and into the our office downstairs on the street front. Firemen responded quickly hosing down the entire building and putting the fire out. Unfortunately the damage had been done. The Advanced Geologic office suffered major smoke and water damage but nothing valuable was lost, except the building itself. Everyone was safe. It is highly likely we will need to relocate.

We will be transferring our office phones to our cell phones and working remotely until we know more. If you get our voicemail, please leave a message and someone will be right back to you. Thank you for your patience.

Hello everyone! We are slowly getting back to normal here at the Advanced Geologic headquarters in Chester, CA. Nearly a million acres of prime forest in our northern California gold country has burned in the Dixie Fire. The fire started on July 13 and is still burning as of today. Fortunately, Chester was saved, as were many of the homes and cabins in the area, including our own. However, much of the forest around us is toast. The fire has moved on and affecting other beautiful areas further north.

We were able to repopulate in mid August and Jessie worked diligently to complete the annual claim filings at the BLM by September 1. Given her heroic efforts, everyone who returned their paperwork and payment to us were completed and filed on time. Be sure to send her your congratulations for a job well done. Last year was tough with COVID but this year was much tougher.

Currently she is working on the County Recorder filings. All out of state non-local county filings will be sent out today, well before the September 30th deadline. The Plumas County filing will be done in person tomorrow, thus completing the annual claim filings for 2022.

Anyone who did not respond to our filing services needed to do their own filings. If you did not, your claim is now invalid. We know who you are and we will reclaim the ground.

On another positive note, our corporate office is getting an outside makeover. Prepping and primer has been applied and the final coat of paint will be applied in the next couple of days. Stop by and see our pretty newly painted building and say hello.

Hello everyone. Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. The Dixie Fire has ravaged our forests in Butte, Lassen, Shasta and Plumas Counties. While many areas are scorched, the town of Chester was saved, including the Advanced Geologic headquarters building. All personnel evacuated and we took our computers, hard drives and backup drives, which has allowed us to conduct business from our remote positions.

Jessie has relocated to Chico and has access to our postal mail. She is maintaining our annul mining claim Filing Service. If you have sent in your payment, we have received it and if we have not already made the filing, we will attend to it right away. If you have not sent in your payment, please do so now. Time is running out; do not delay.

Charles has relocated to downtown Tonopah NV where he has set up a new field office at 115 North Main Street. The town and surrounding areas are active with miners and claim holders needing quality geological consulting. He is currently renovating a building and should have everything ready to rock and roll by the end of the month. Come by and say hi if traveling through the area. Our post office address there is

Advanced Geologic
PO Box 1725
Tonopah, NV 89049

Do not send your filing service payments there. Jessie needs you to send it to the Chester address where we will attend to it.

Advanced Geologic has fared well during this epic and horrific disaster. Rest assure that all is well with your mining claim claim status. Per your mining claim, know that after a few seasons, the vegetation will regrow and be a paradise again. Fires also release more gold into the streams which is the only silver lining to this disaster.

Thank you again for all your support!

Carpe diem!!

* National Forest Service Permitting Rule Changes*

Advanced Geologic has received advanced notice of the National Forest Service (NFS) proposed rule changes to the 36 CFR 228 subpart A, 2810 Locatable Minerals regulations in which they were required by Presidential Executive Order to, in general, streamline the permitting process to be more in-line with the Bureau of Land Management's Notice of Intents and Plan of Operations permitting processes.

The long-overdue Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is scheduled to be released the week of January 18th with a 45-day public comment period. The NFS will incorporate the public comments of the EIS into the framework and file a finalized rule change with the Federal Resister sometime in the Fall of 2021.

While there will be numerous changes in the current permitting process, one thing is for sure, if you want to use a backhoe to explore for minerals on your mining claim, and it creates a newly defined "non-significant" disturbance, your permit application should take only 15 days once the application is deemed to be complete for all the required application elements.

This is a substantial change from the 4-8 months, and even several years, for the Forest Service to approve an application for such activity.

Advanced Geologic has diligently worked with the NFS on this rule change and is hopeful that the miners will finally get the necessary relief from this long overdue rule change.

About time!

Outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump's administration is moving to loosen mining regulations and green light new mineral projects before leaving office this month, with successor Joe Biden unable to reverse some of the changes.

California has once again proved to be incompetent in addressing the permitting of suction dredge mining. The Water Boards have released new detailed county maps showing areas/streams that are open to suction dredge mining. For example in my county of Plumas, there is only one area in eastern part of the county and none of those creeks contain any gold. Likewise, neighboring Sierra County has more areas open but few contain any gold. Several counties have no areas open to suction dredge mining.

State Water Board staff will be conducting two virtual public workshops to demonstrate the draft Suction Dredge Mining mapping application on the following dates:

Workshop #1: Wednesday, January 13, 2021 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Workshop #2: Thursday, January 28, 2021 9:00am to 12:00pm

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is developing the Mineral & Land Records System (MLRS) to replace the Legacy Rehost 2000 (LR2000) case management system, Alaska Land Information System (ALIS), and land status records (e.g., Master Title Plats, Historical Index, Tract Books).

MLRS will be a customer-centric, geospatially-enabled land information system that employs nationally standardized business processes, ensuring the quality and accuracy of land and mineral records and data, while securely delivering land records information to relevant BLM employees, customers, and the public.

The MLRS mining claims module is slated to launch in early 2021. Over the next two years, additional MLRS modules will be released in support of land and mineral use authorizations for oil, gas, and geothermal leasing; rights-of-way; coal and other mineral development; land and mineral title; and withdrawals, classifications, and other actions on Federal lands or on Federal mineral estate.
