Your horse would like to live at our fancy, friendly, upscale horse boarding stable in Chesterfield, Virginia. We only board private horses, we do not offer lessons, or have lesson horses. Our facility is located on 70 pristine, lush green acres on River Road in the heart of Chesterfield County, Virginia. River Road Riding Club offers large, grassy pastures with herd or private turnout and 12 X 12

stalls with all of the extras our horses enjoy. Our staff has extensive "horse experience", along with the heart, and knowledge to give the exceptional quality care your horse needs and deserves. Offering 12 large turnout fields, three private turnout paddocks and 3 layup fields) as well as two 175x300 foot riding rings, ( one for hunter / jumpers and one for Dressage ) along with a 110x175 covered, lighted riding arena. Over a mile of fenced bridle path and 72 adjoining acres for trail rides in non-hay cutting season. We also have three hot and cold water wash stalls, private tack boxes, and a boarder lounge with refrigerator, ice boot freezer, medicine storage, etc. We welcome ALL disciplines but we are not a school barn. You may bring your own farrier, trainer and vet and there is no ring charge etc.. If you do not have any of the above, we are visited by multiple professionals and can provide referrals. We do not offer pasture board. Indulge yourself, and indulge your horse. Come ride with good friends, and rediscover the joy of owning a horse.
