It’s been an unusual start after last week’s storms and widespread power outages delayed the first day for many local schools. We also know that many families throughout Northwest Indiana are still without power and dealing with storm recovery, and our thoughts remain with everyone continuing to work through those challenges.

The recent severe storms have caused significant damage and widespread power outages throughout Northwest Indiana. Our thoughts are with everyone dealing with damage, outages, and disruption across our communities.

We’re grateful to the first responders, utility crews, public works employees, and others working around the clock to help our region recover. We’re also incredibly proud of our Midwest Security Forces officers who have stepped up, working additional hours and through the night to help keep our clients’ properties safe and secure.

Northwest Indiana is our home too. We’re proud to serve these communities and do our part during a difficult time.
