We are excited to announce that Atlantic Security will be appearing on the groundbreaking and educational series Access with Andy Garcia. In the segment, our founder John S. Wayne, our general manager Dan Wagner, and Chestertown Police Chief Ron Dixon will be discussing how detection and prevention technology are helping to make communities safer.

We had a great time filming yesterday at our office and around Chestertown. Stay tuned for more behind the scenes shots and information on when our segment will air!

July 13th, 1956 was the opening day of the Dartmouth Summer Research on Artificial Intelligence in Hanover, New Hampshire. It is where the term " Artificial Intelligence" was coined by computer scientist John McCarthy.

The goal of the two month workshop was to explore the odea that "every aspect of learning or any other feature of intelligence can in principle be so precisely described that a machine can be made to simulate it"

70 years later, "AI" is used in everyday technology including cars, TV's smartphones...the list is endless.

There are many theories on the origin of April Fool’s Day, and most likely the current rendition of April Fool’s Day is a combination of all of them.
We like the theory that in the 1500’s, France moved from the Gregorian Calendar to the Julian Calendar, thereby changing the first day of the New Year from April 1st to January 1st. Those who did not accept the change, or were slow to accept it, were deemed April Fools.
Many other ancient cultures welcomed the beginning of spring with celebrations that involved dressing up and jokingly breaking societal rules.

In any case, enjoy the spring day and watch our for pranksters.

What a beautiful day! It almost feels like spring. Warmer weather is on the way and we have seen a few osprey in the area. We have the nest streaming on our osprey website and will have it on our Atlantic Security, Inc website soon. Enjoy!
