After two other technicians went to the site to fix the fault codes for the front and rear doors, they determined that both door contact sensors were faulty; however, issues persisted after replacement. I then went to the site and determined that the issues were related to the wiring, not the devices. I replaced the faulty wiring and resolved the fault codes.

The client called, stating that the main monitor was not working after the store remodeling. The electrician confirmed that it had power, but the monitor could not display a picture. He advised calling an IT technician. After I confirmed it had power, the electrician cut the wiring from the PoE switch. The monitor is back, and another client is happy.

Client texted me asking if I could give him a quote to install some IP cameras.
First technician he contacted for a quote stated that he only works on residential projects. Second technician provided a higher quote, which the owner approved; however, a couple of days later, the technician stated that he did not have time to complete the job.
I went there, had a 30-minute conversation, and we reached an agreement.
The job was completed last Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

The panic button was installed without protective covering, at an incorrect height, and without silicone sealing to protect against water. Due to all these reasons, it was damaged, causing the alarm to go off every day. After installing a junction box, modifying it to allow access if employees need it, adjusting the height, and sealing it with silicone, the panic button is now operational.

A job was completed today at a store located in Wyoming, Rhode Island. The site was experiencing issues with the glass break sensor triggering several times during business hours. I replaced the device and lowered its sensitivity to prevent these issues in the future.
