The 2025 DC Small Business Summit & Expo is right around the corner—scheduled for April 15th from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW, Washington, DC 20001). This year’s theme is “Resiliency During Uncertain Times.”

The event will feature industry leaders engaging in panel workshop discussions, including:

- Procurement for Small Business
- Marketing Mastery
- Mergers & Acquisitions Simplified
- Cybersecurity Essentials for Small Businesses

Krendall Orren Business Solutions, Inc. and Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) have entered into a Strategic Alliance relationship for training opportunities in the commercial and Federal sectors.

In addition to offering training services to business and industry (e.g. APICS & Supply Chain, Computer Tech, Corporate Security, Engineering Tech, Lean Six Sigma, Learning & Training Tech), FVTC has specialized expertise and training facilities for public safety training, including but not limited to aircraft rescue and fire-fighting (ARFF).

FVTC is home to the nation’s premier center for ARFF training, the Appleton International Airport (ATW) ARFF Training Center. The world-class training field at the ATW ARFF Training Center includes a one-of-a-kind Boeing 777 Specialized Aircraft Fire Trainer (B777 SAFT) and Cessna Skyhawk training prop, set on a spill-fire area of 96 individually-controlled fire zones (largest in industry), designed for realistic aircraft fire and rescue response, with multiple scenario capabilities to produce the most realistic training available.

The Strategic Alliance with FVTC further expands Krendall Orren’s already broad business and industry training capabilities into the Tactical Law Enforcement/Military, ARFF and Public Safety training disciplines.
