The call for applications begins on July 1 and runs through July 31. Artists and arts organizations can apply for a share of $2 million in Miami and Detroit and $1 million in Akron to fund their projects by submitting a hundred-and-fifty-word proposal that answers a single question: What is your best idea for the arts in either Akron, Detroit, or Miami?

This year's challenge will highlight artists and arts organizations working to find new ways to attract audiences, enhance in-person experiences, document creation, and/or amplify outreach to people who otherwise would not experience their art.

"ACVO Vision for Animals Foundation Invites Applications for Research"

The mission of the ACVO Vision for Animals Foundation (VAF) is to improve the quality of life of animals by advancing animal eye health through science and education.
The foundation welcomes applications for its Founders Clinical Research Grant program in honor of the ACVO Charter Diplomates. Through the program, grants of up to $10,000 over two years will be awarded in support of animal eye disease research.
Applications are encouraged from academic institutions, private veterinary practices, or a collaboration between the two. Collaborative, multidisciplinary teams that have the potential to approach discovery research from multiple perspectives will be given priority.
