Employee Spotlight: Laiba Idrees (Accounting Specialist)

As the Accounting Specialist at MFort, Laiba is responsible for client billing, coordinating with property managers to ensure timely collections, and tracking the company’s financial performance. Her role plays a key part in monitoring cash flow and supporting effective budgeting and financial planning.

Laiba joined MFort in December 2025 and has quickly become a valuable member of the team. As her first position after college, her role has provided an exciting opportunity to continuously learn, grow, and strengthen her accounting expertise through new challenges and experiences each day.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is passionate about building a successful career in the accounting field. Outside of work, Laiba enjoys spending quality time with her family.
