Chromite (FeCr2️⃣O4️⃣) iron-chromium mineral, found this piece in one of Cyprus’s 🇨🇾 chrome mines, they deposit in ultramafic igneous rocks like peridotite which form in the earths upper mantle and are exposed via crystal uplift due to plate tectonics.
