because you knew my past
and still you took me by the hand.
I'm staying right here
cause in your arms i found peace,
that tranquility that no one else can give me,
because by your side the world is lighter,
cause you lifted me off the ground
when I was ashes,
because instead of judging me
you hugged my wounds,
and you restored my faith,
that urge to believe again...
I'm staying with you
even with our many differences,
even with our faults,
tastes and preferences,
because we are perfectly incompatible
because we clearly don't fit
but still we love each other,
yet we choose each other...
because we don't just complement each other
in the bed.
Because it's more than that,
because it is more than skin and desire,
is connection of souls.
because we both like to love
nice and nice,
because nobody cares about the past,
