Last night was amazing! SONL Construction members had the opportunity to connect with Lifting Lawndale members, build relationships, and participate in team-building activities together. They also shared their vision for the co-op and discussed what inspired them to join the movement.

During last evening’s co-op class, the group focused on company branding and identity when launching a cooperative business.

The discussion highlighted that branding is far more than a logo or color palette. It represents the co-op’s values, mission, and purpose. For a cooperative, identity must clearly reflect community ownership, shared leadership, and service.

Happy New Year! We’re excited for what the next few months will bring.

Last evening, co-op members kicked off their first workshop with Roux Nolan. The group came ready to learn and was fully engaged in discussions around democratic approval and shared decision-making.
