Today, the tragedy in Louisiana, where eight innocent children lost their lives was an act of domestic violence, is both heartbreaking and deeply disturbing.

This was not random violence—it was rooted in the very place where children should be safest: the home.

Recently, we have been witnessing a troubling rise in domestic violence incidents escalating into murder-suicides and mass killings.

Cowards who instead of leaving or moving on such as Justin Fairfax, would rather kill their partner then themselves because of their reckless selfish behavior that caused the divorce or separation is troubling, pure cowardice and just plain selfish.

These are not isolated events. They reflect a growing crisis involving mental health, broken relationships, unchecked abuse, and access to lethal means.

Statistics show that a significant portion of homicides in this country are tied to domestic situations, and far too often, they end with the perpetrator taking their own life—leaving families and communities devastated in the aftermath.

We have to better, from the courts to local law enforcement.

That means recognizing warning signs, taking threats seriously, and ensuring intervention happens before violence escalates

I stop and sincerely pray for the victims as this is beyond heartbreaking and tragic.
