68 hours later….
Walking into my last 12-hour night shift… 9 PM to 9 AM.
If you are tired today, this is your reminder not to give up on yourself. 🤍
This week I worked 68 hours, and tonight is my final 12-hour night shift before coming off nights for six weeks.
I also get a week off starting Monday!
I missed the gym today because my body needed rest… and I listened.
Tomorrow I’ll be going to church after work , and honestly, that is part of how I reset mentally and spiritually after weeks like this.
Taking care of yourself is not just about workouts, routines, or productivity and sometimes it is about slowing down, reconnecting with your faith, and giving your mind peace too.
Why am I sharing this?
Because so many people think growth means being perfect all the time. It does not.
Sometimes growth looks like:
• Resting without guilt
• Showing up tired but still trying
• Choosing faith over frustration
• Staying consistent even when life feels heavy
Your journey will not always look glamorous.
Some days you will feel exhausted, unmotivated, or behind. But do not let one hard day convince you to quit on your goals.
❓Anyone else learning to listen to their bodies while still chasing their goals?
Give yourself grace.
Protect your mindset.
Keep moving forward one step at a time. ✨
