As a childcare professional, you're likely finding that things get hectic and busy—fast. I know it's a lot to handle, but I’ve got your back. Here are some tips on how to build systems and get organized in your in home childcare business.
1. Get a planner! You've probably got a calendar on your phone, but there is something about the physical act of writing down tasks and scheduling events that helps you stay organized. Write down everything and anything that comes up for the week so you can see it all laid out in front of you.
2. Create easy-to-use forms for yourself and any colleagues you work with or have working under you. Put them online so people can fill them out from wherever, whenever. You'll rest easy knowing all their info is in one place and you won't have to scramble to find a piece of paper when you need something important stat!
3. Streamline the finance process so payments come directly to your account instead of being handed off to parents at pick up time who may forget to pay (or just plain forget). With automatic payments, everyone will always be paid on time and it'll take one more thing off your plate!
