Nancy created Legal Launch, LLC to help attorneys and law students land rewarding traditional and nontraditional legal careers. Throughout her 28-year legal career, Nancy has always mentored law students and lawyers with their career development, providing nonstop ideas. Nancy knows the ever-changing legal market; she also understands how prospective employers think and what qualities and skills t
hey seek in a candidate. For these same reasons, legal employers regularly turn to Nancy for help with their hiring needs. She can quickly and effectively advertise available positions in professional publications and receive immediate responses from practitioners in specific practice areas. Nancy's recruiting methods attract the most qualified candidates to be interviewed and recommended for hire. Nancy previously practiced commercial litigation as an associate in the Chicago office of McDermott, Will and Emery for many years. She also served as the Director of Legal Services for the Center for Disability and Elder Law f/k/a/ The Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Inc., where she supervised three in-house attorneys and over 400 volunteer attorneys serving the legal needs of low-income people with disabilities. More recently, Nancy has presided over 150 mandatory arbitration matters as an arbitrator for the Circuit Courts of Cook and Lake Counties. She has also counseled many students and graduates in their career development for the Office of Career Services at Loyola University Chicago Law School. from Loyola University Chicago, ranking 12th out of 149 in her law school class. She graduated from Occidental College, magna cm laude, with honors. Nancy presently lives in Deerfield, Illinois with her husband and their three daughters, where everything stops for the Illini.
