Initial efficacy findings from Part C of MAIA Biotechnology's Phase 2 THIO-101 expansion trial were consistent with the encouraging efficacy signals previously reported for Parts A and B, despite evaluating a more heavily pre-treated third-line NSCLC patient population.

Part C included patients who had previously received docetaxel and demonstrated resistance to both immunotherapy and other chemotherapies.

MAIA Biotechnology (NYSE: MAIA) has completed international enrollment in Part C of its Phase 2 THIO-101 expansion trial evaluating ateganosine in advanced NSCLC patients receiving third-line therapy.

A total of 41 patients have been enrolled and treated across international clinical sites in Taiwan, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Georgia. Patient screening remains ongoing at three activated clinical sites in the United States.

The THIO-101 trial continues to evaluate ateganosine, MAIA's investigational dual-mechanism therapy targeting telomeres and immune activation in difficult-to-treat cancers.
