Today my husband and I celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. As I fell asleep last night, I can distinctly remember the feeling of excitement and nervousness I had four years ago. Little did I know how amazing the next day was going to be. The feeling of being surrounded by so many loved ones, hugging friends and family, and care-freely celebrating is a feeling that is, now, so cherished. Even though we are just a few years into this journey, I have learned so much.

➡️To be a good mom and wife, I need to take care of myself
➡️I thought I was patient, turns out it is something I have to work on every day
➡️Take time at the end of each day to check in with each other
➡️Your spouse is truly your teammate; when one falls down, the other is there to pull them up
➡️It is okay to ask for help and lean on your partner (especially during motherhood - it took me a long time to be okay with asking for help)

..my list could go on and on, and there will be so much more to learn over the next several years through new ups and downs.

The picture posted is of our first dance, a moment that will forever be in my heart. I had so many emotions, as you can see if you swipe through the photos. Through the first minute or two, I was balling, and then, of course, Steve made me laugh.

Life isn't perfect, and we will face obstacles down the road, but I am fortunate to have him by my side.

In October 2020, published, "Marriage in the ‘New’ America: A Pandemic, Equality, and an Industry Ready for Change." They surveyed 4,000 of their followers and learned that 66% of them postponed their 2020 wedding.

This is a tell-tale sign that over a majority of 2020 couples pushed out their weddings to 2021, a handful to 2022.

What does this mean for recently engaged couples?

Limited availability of desired date, venue, and vendors.

As many of you are experiencing the process of hiring vendors - you are realizing it takes time.

Searching for vendors, filling out inquiry forms, email correspondence, budget and availability review, can take several weeks.

We can help.

Through our vast network of wedding professionals, we can narrow down vendors that are available and meet your vision in half the time it could take to do it on your own.

DM us directly to learn more or visit our website in the bio.

This is me. Every day I'm learning to love myself and believe in myself a little more. Sometimes I laugh a little too loud and do a happy dance when I'm excited. I adore spending time with my friends and love ones but I also love quiet time at home. I love helping my couples execute their dream wedding day and being on the sidelines to watch the magic. I am married to my best friend and have a 2yr old golden retriever, Daisy🐶. We are expecting a little baby girl any day 👶🏻💕.⠀

I'm thrilled to be continuing to grow Julie B Events and could not be more excited for the 2019 wedding season. ⠀
