A Brief History of Slavery That You Didn’t Learn In School. Black citizen’s right to freedom is just an amendment of the Constitution not a law. Can amendments be repealed?

There are two ways to repeal an amendment. One way is for the proposed amendment to be passed by the House and the Senate with two-thirds majority votes. Then, the proposed amendment would have to be ratified by three-fourths of the states. The second way to repeal an amendment is to have a Constitutional Convention.

Announcement of the Passing of
Ms. Alanna Joi Ford

Rev. Jesse Jackson and the entire Rainbow PUSH staff and volunteers are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved family member, Alanna Joi Ford. Alanna, a longtime friend of the Jackson Family and a devoted member of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, started as a volunteer in 2013. She began working with the organization in the press department. She later served as the special assistant to our Founder, Rev. Jesse Jackson. She earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University, and she was a dedicated freedom fighter of the Civil Rights and Social Justice movement. At this time, no arrangements have been made.
