Due to the Democratic National Convention taking place from August 19-22, 2024, the Federal Aviation Administration has issued multiple Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) over the Chicago area. As a result, Helios Visions will be temporarily pausing all flight operations in the city during this period.

Chicago has been designated as a , and we are committed to ensuring compliance with these regulations. We encourage all drone operators to stay informed about airspace restrictions by using the FAA’s B4UFLY service: https://lnkd.in/g-Sw3Fcx.

Take a look at the Helios Visions drone images (May 2023) of the awe-inspiring tilt-wall panels, each weighing a whopping 217,000 lbs., as they are expertly placed for Junction 2035 in Fort Worth, Texas.

This incredible project involves the construction of a new 138,600 SF warehouse and office facility, led by the exceptional team at W.E. O'Neil Construction . 🏗️

The construction process has been nothing short of impressive. Starting with the structural steel and decking, the project swiftly moved on to erecting the monumental tilt-up panels. And as the panels are set in place, the remaining joist and decking seamlessly follow suit. 🏢

Fun fact: Tyler was one of the first drone pilots to receive his Part 107 certification back on August 29, 2016, the first day the 107 regulations came out! Since then, he has continued to demonstrate his commitment to safety and compliance in the drone industry.

Staying up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practices is essential in the drone industry, and Tyler's dedication is truly admirable. If you're a Part 107 pilot, remember to complete your FAA ALC677 UAS Recurrent exam every 24 months to stay current and ensure the safety of your team and the broader aviation community.

One of the key highlights was the innovative use of AGC Glass Europe's “coat-on-demand” glass, which was used to cover the building. The unique glass technology allowed for a precise and efficient application of coatings, resulting in a sleek and modern finish.
