Ever read something at work and still have no idea what the point was? 🤔

It’s not because people aren’t paying attention.
It’s because the message is doing too much… and not making the point clear.

So people reread.
They guess.
They try to figure it out on their own.

That’s where alignment breaks down.

Clear communication isn’t about saying more; it’s about making the message easier to follow and act on.

If your team is feeling this, it might be time to rethink how you’re communicating.

Community at work is not built through proximity, titles, or good intentions alone. It takes trust, accountability, shared responsibility, honest dialogue, and a clear understanding of power.

That’s what we’re unpacking on episode 3 of Looping You In with Facie Chiwanza, Head of Client Services.

Most organizations know how to launch change. Far fewer know how to lead people through it.

A new strategy gets announced.
A new system gets rolled out.
A new direction is shared across the company.

But then something happens.

Behavior doesn’t really change.
Culture doesn’t fully shift.
And over time, things quietly fall back into old patterns.

That’s because change happens in a moment, but transition happens in people.

Real transformation takes more than a kickoff meeting or a rollout plan. It requires helping people navigate what they’re letting go of, the uncertainty of the messy middle, and the reinforcement needed to make new ways of working stick.

Because transformation isn’t announced.
It’s practiced.

If your transformation looks right on paper but feels off in practice, let’s talk 🤝🏾

Q1 is wrapping up, and whether leaders want to admit it or not… it exposed some gaps.

Missed follow-through.
Unclear priorities.
Too much reacting, not enough leading.

That’s not failure, it's data.

Q2 is the opportunity to actually fix what Q1 revealed.

The Dynamic Leader program focuses on building stronger clarity, accountability, and consistency so leaders stop repeating the same issues every quarter.

If Q1 exposed gaps, contact us to learn how Dynamic Leader can help you fix them in Q2.

We’re kicking off Looping You In with a conversation about the DEI Mirage 🪞 what happens when the nuanced work of building a healthy workplace community gets treated like a “quick fix.”

We’ve all seen the pattern:
hype → rollout → backlash → we’re moving away from it.

But the need didn’t disappear because the core work never changed.

Healthy communities still require:
✨ Compassion
✨ Accountability
✨ Listening
✨ Self-awareness
✨ Humility
✨ Storytelling
✨ Collaboration

🎧 Episode 1 (“Woke No More”) drops March 3.

Looping You In is the podcast that centers what's really happening at work while decoding the invisible dynamics shaping your workplace before they shape you.

Because work isn’t broken. It’s layered. Political. Human. Complicated.

Hosted by members of our team, Brynne Hovde + Jasmine Nelson, we’ll surface the invisible dynamics driving the tension and give you the moves to respond with clarity (not chaos).

Conflict escalates fastest when we get reactive. 😤 The nervous system senses a threat, and suddenly, people interrupt, assume intent, or shut down. At that point, nobody’s listening. Everybody’s protecting. 🛡️

One simple way to break the spiral is using non-reactive statements. 🧠✨
They name what’s happening without blame or accusation, which lowers the temperature and keeps the conversation grounded in reality.

Try these in the moment 👇
✅ “I’m noticing we’re reacting to different assumptions.”
✅ “Let’s pause and clarify what success looks like.”
✅ “What constraints are we working within?”
✅ “What do we agree matters most here?”

And remember: common ground isn’t agreement. 🤝
It’s shared goals, clear constraints, and a definition of success that keeps debate from getting personal.

Healthy conflict isn’t quiet. It’s direct, respectful, and productive. 💬🔥

We communicate all the time at work.
But being clear doesn’t always mean being understood. 💬

Storytelling is what connects the dots.
It helps people understand why something matters, not just what’s happening. ✨
