30 years ago, we founded this company with the goal of improving the decision-making process by leveraging, modeling and analyzing large data sets. Over time, data sets became larger and more complex thus we became early adapters for using AI based technologies to identify impactful data from large unstructured data sets and applying a rules-based analysis on these data.
We began our journey focusing on mitigating environmental impacts of military training and expanded our analyses to optimization of training activities, contaminant mapping via remote sensing, government project budgetary optimization, multinational pollutant tracking, municipal license automation, real time disease surveillance, patient flow optimization, real time traffic data monitoring, target optimization, and the delivery and management of educational services to children.
In 2016, Pangaea created a wholly owned subsidiary, Pangaea Installation Management Services LLC (PIMS) to provide environmental field work to support the US Army Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Program. PIMS successfully supported the ITAM Program at Fort Drum, Fort Campbell, Fort Gordon, Fort AP Hill, Fort Jackson, Fort Bragg, Fort Benning and Fort McCoy.
The one constant factor during these past 30 years is our exceptional staff. Our business is defined by our talented and experienced team. One of the things that I’m most proud of is our employee retention. We are fortunate that most of our leadership team has been with us for over 20 years. The other point of pride is that our very first client is still an active client. There is no better testimony to the quality of a business than long term customers.
