The countdown is on! We’re less than 2 months away from our Annual Mogul Mom Retreat! I’m still in awe that I’ve had the pleasure of hosting these retreats since 2019 and were still going strong! What started as an idea to host a weekend beach getaway exclusively for moms has elevated into a full out experience for moms + entrepreneurs. I’m saying this to say….. we’re waiting on that million dollar idea that you’ve been hiding from the world!

Naturally Divine Organics was founded to raise awareness about common disease in the black & brown community. We provide high quality herbs, education about superfoods and teach families how to use food for energy and healing. Our goal is to help families to embrace healthy choices as a lifestyle. Our goal is to build healthy communities by building healthy families one herb, one recipe, one plant at a time. One of our recent accomplishments is making the vendors list at the Vegandale Festival in Chicago June 11, 2022.

One thing she’d like all aspiring mompreneurs to know is; If it’s blocking your vision, Move it! When you desire new outcomes in life you have to break up with old patterns, Focus! & live the abundant life that God promised.

Nyoki is a Life, Branding & Social Media Coach based in the Chicagoland area. A few things you should know about her, she’s collaborated with dozens of Melaninpreneurs with my CEO Confessions Podcast that’s being downloaded in 6 different countries, She recently created a new initiative for young adults between the ages of 21 and 29 where she teaches them the importance of healthy mental health habits as well as support and prepare them for life after their 20’s. She’s also assisted with coaching, brand building, content creation & system setup for 15 Biz’ness Baddies Q1 and have opened her books to assist more this month.

Advice she’d like to provide to aspiring mompreneurs is Don’t be afraid to chase your dreams because you are a mom!!! When I think back on my life and all that I could have accomplished 20 years ago instead of working to accomplish it now I don’t have regrets HOWEVER I do wish that I had started sooner.

Find the perfect balance for your life so that you can be a full-time mom chase your dreams and accomplish your goals because ultimately what you are doing is building generational wealth and setting them up to NEVER have to

Carmelita Mcroy is a speaker, author, and certified life coach for moms. She’s passionate about seeing moms thrive in their life. She teaches them how to use their feminine holistic power to create the life they want. As a single mom who raised eight children, she knows what its like to have adversity as a parent which is why she teach moms the lessons and life experiences she’s encountered.

One piece of advice I have for the mom tribe is; Moms don’t get burnt out. Take time to take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. You can not build if you are empty.

Akissi Brooks is the owner of Ambitious Girl Avenue, LLC a firm that offers business services for
women and the Founder of Ambitious Girls, Inc., a National Promising Practice organization
recognized by the Character Education Partnership in Washington, D.C.

Akissi believes “All girls are ambitious, and every girl is an Ambitious Girl” and she expanded the scope
of the Ambitious Girl platform, by launching the Ambitious Girl Academy in 2018. In 2019, she created
the Ambitious Girl Assembly to bring the Ambitious Girl MAGIC experience to girls around the world.
Her first two assemblies were held in Cape Town, South Africa and in December 2019, she launched the
first international chapter of Ambitious Girls, Inc. in Ghana, West Africa. To date, thousands of girls have
been empowered by initiatives under the Ambitious Girl platform.

My advice for aspiring Mompreneurs: Your success begins with you and while balancing both motherhood and entrepreneurship is hard, your aspirations do not have to die because you are a mom. Regardless of what your struggles look like, success is not only based on what you do but your decision to continue despite the trials along the journey. Make the choices! Take the chances! Embrace the changes! Your ambition can either drive you to your greatness or keep you stuck with regrets. The difference is in choosing to believe in and pursue what you desire. Struggles and setbacks will come but so will the success when you are persistent with the process! Remember, your success begins with you!

Life is all about creating experiences. This was ATV excursion with our mom tribe last year. One thing we’re going to always do is werk and play! We just announced our 2023 retreats to our Mom Tribe and we can’t wait to create more experiences.
