Ending Q2 on a high note…joined our Black@ resource org, capped off an amazing first half with the eComm team offsite on campus, tried to keep my workout momentum going on the road, finishing up performance reviews and now..we REST.

Just to be clear, I did not feel like I needed to earn rest in this season but it felt very fleeting so I’m so grateful for a more focused and intentional opportunity.

It’s been a week…but really a few weeks. I can’t say that there haven’t been amazing outputs, namely Amari’s party, Galentine’s, and a great offsite with my teammates but Q1 felt crunchy for our home and I’m so glad to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I’ve really been pushing the envelope on staying present through the pain, so the name of this cocktail is ‘Surrender’. It’s pairing nicely with our date night movie: American Fiction.
