Spirio service! Today i enjoyed working on this older Spirio B. The piano is in great shape, was close to pitch, and played back pretty well initially! After this service it played back quieter and smoother (and was actually in tune).
This piano had me reflecting on how far we’ve come in the last ten years. Somehow I still love working on these systems…and pianos🖤

After 8 successful years of business in CA, I am now going to work at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL!
I am super excited to work alongside the head technician maintaining and improving pianos for the faculty, students, and guests. The music school is beautiful, and our shop even has a window! Haha.
I am also so grateful for all of my loved ones who are supporting me through this time! And for all of my colleagues who have had nothing but positive things to say for me about this change. I’m looking forward to this new chapter 🥳

This week I worked hard to ensure that in the two and a half days we had to work, these 50+ pianos were presentable for the biggest sale of the year! I had a great team of technicians and finishers and movers who all worked hard too and together we got everything looking and sounding great. Can’t wait to see these pianos in their new homes!!
