I am back in Chicago after a weekend with 2nd Recon Association reunion. Spent some quality time with some quality men, we didn’t solve any of the world’s problems, but we certainly enjoyed ourselves. We shot up about 7000 rounds of Marine Corp ammo. Great time but now I need a vacation.

The finish to a heart warming assignment.

A client hired me to find his college sweetheart. This client had recently been widowed and it had been fifty years since he had seen or talked with her. He only new her name and that she had lived with her family in Lake Forest, Illinois. He had an approximate age but couldn't even remember what month she had been born. It took me a couple of days but I found her, not in Lake Forest but on the east coast. She had been married and then divorced once and had recently also lost her husband of thirty years. Since her college days she had moved several time and lived in Europe for a while. When she answered my telephone call and explained who I was and why I was calling she stopped me and said you are working for so & so..... I have been thinking of him lately. My client also lives on the east coast but several hours away. They are making plans to meet soon, after getting their covid shots.😍
