Jordan Grimmett has graduated as a medical doctor at just 23 years old from the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) in the United States.
His path began right after high school. At 17, when most students are still deciding what to study, he gained admission into UMKC's highly competitive six year BA/MD program, which lets students earn both their undergraduate and medical degrees on an accelerated timeline. That meant six years of compressed, demanding training, started as a teenager and carried all the way through.
There is no shortcut hidden in that story. It is the story of a young man who knew what he wanted early and refused to let go of it.
Age was never the qualification. Preparation is, and he has been preparing since he was 17.
