Dale J. Spencer

Dale J. Spencer Overcome Fear to arrive at success THAT INJURY DIDN’T NEED TO HAPPEN! This is the Dale Spencer Story. FEAR NOT!

It is a genuine retelling of events that forever changed Dale’s life and firmly placed him on the path that he now follows. Told in a narrative it is compelling, funny, uplifting, lighthearted and ultimately empowering for all who share the journey.

-GENERAL AND PROFESSIONAL

Rather than focusing solely on his own experience, Dale has interviewed multiple professionals, family members and friends

about fear and how it impacts our lives, both negatively and positively. Dale has0 determined there are 4 key areas where the emotion of FEAR dwells: Professional, social, mental and physical. As a result of these interviews as well as his personal experiences, Dale has identified the necessary building blocks to overcome fear and achieve success, regardless of what form it is in. These two programs are not the Dale Spencer story, but rather universal experiences that affect us all. DON’T FEAR IT: EMBRACING LIFE’S JOURNEY
This program is focused on the universal life journey. CIRCUMVENTING YOUR BUSINESS FEARS TO ARIVE AT PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS
This program is focused on achieving professional success.

ThinkFirst and choices!! The resonating question was about resiliency. My answer about my resiliency....where did I build on it? My journey led me to ThinkFirst by using this resilience to continually share my story to the students. Hoping that my story will help them with making sound decisions. # # @ Wheaton Warrenville South High School

For my hundredth post on Instagram like to mention yesterday’s ThinkFirst presentation at Lincoln Junior high school. Thanks for the hospitality from the staff. Would like to point out that the seventh graders are, arguably, my favorite audience. Curiosity and inquisitiveness of the students always blows me away. I could’ve stayed for another hour for questions. Thank you so much and ThinkFirst! high school @ Lincoln Jr High School

Thanks to Dundee Crown high school in East Dundee for having us speak about injury prevention. ThinkFirst is been around for over 30 years and still going strong. Not only spread around the country but also, Internationally. As for the speaking part once I was done with the presentation I am tend questions from the audience. This was definitely a quiet group so I changed my tune and asked what their 3 top takeaway were from the presentation. That suggestion garnered more interest from the students. Plan A doesn’t work???? Then go for Plan B! Success!! Dale

Saturday night we attended did not know much about him but now I am obsessed with his music. Had a wonderful time being a w/c user, I found the common areas and room to be very accessible. Bars properly placed and a stable shower chair. Super comfy bed and blackout blinds. Loved it. Oh, and their restaurant, 312, has amazing breakfast. I had the blast sandwich (I’m a creature of habit). My one recommendation would to verse the staff on places to watch the game (Bears). They sent us to the cantina in Mos Eisley around the corner. After leaving that place in the dust, we found tasty apps and unusually alluring mixed drinks. played a 2 hour set. They rocked and we will be back. @ Kimpton Hotel Allegro

I want to give a shout out to my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting Tower Suites in Reykjavík. These exclusive suites on the top floor of one of the largest buildings in town. Only eight suites. There is parking outside or in the basement of the building. There’s usually spots on the outside. Be careful the parking meters we got a ticket and still don’t know why.walking into the lobby noticed it was also a corporate center. restaurants on the first floor. Key card which leads us to the elevator specifically to the top floor. Elevator keys tonight hours of work. Could have been bugs in the system or the card sitting in my highly magnetized wallet. . Sometime. We arrived in town at around noon. Lucky for us the room was readyRolling in we discovered that the main room was completely accessible to my mobility needs. Bathroom was directly to the left. It was a spacious room be careful transferring to and from the toilet. It is much lower than a wheelchair safely. And as for the shower chair The tower suites did not even on one. I am mediately stop by the front desk explaining my plight to the manager. She immediately went shopping and I had it in the room the next morning. At night we filled our bfast card choosing dishes for the next morning’s breakfast which was included in the price. The bed was at the wheelchair level easy to transfer and super comfy. And it faced the outside. Also the inchworm breakfast in front of our room. The breakfast was waiting front of our room and they were there within five minutes of the designated time. we had several cheeses, breads hard-boiled eggs and amazing coffee. In the lobby of the couches or parts of stores. Being a wheelchair user I chose the couches. The view was breathtaking. It was February and it was quite cloudy and no chance to see The northern lights.Floor to ceiling windows views of the bay of downtown Reykjavík, Atlantic ocean beautiful glaciers.
