Sometimes you have to ditch the van, and explore by boat!

It's crazy to think it's been almost a year since we got the van, and we took it for her maiden voyage around the entirety of Lake Michigan. ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You cannot make this trip without crossing the beautiful Mackinac Bridge seen here, which is the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere.⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you want to get up, Star Line ferry boats heading to Mackinac Island from Mackinaw City will even take you under the bridge!⠀

We always knew this whole thing was going to be part-time, but the long Iowa winter and wet spring has left the van stationary for far too long.⁣

Tens of thousands of years ago, the Northeast corner of New Mexico looked much different then it does today. The area between Raton and Clayton contains many extinct volcanic peaks. Capulin Volcano, seen here, rises over 1000 feet above the surrounding flat plains.⁣

Work Mode to Camper Mode in 10 seconds.⁣

Since we don't live in our van full time, we had to keep it flexible. The removable platform bed allows for very quick switches between camp and work mode. Now if we could just cut down on the time it takes to pack for our trips....⁣
