We had the honor of attending the Luncheon in Chicago - an annual gathering that never fails to ignite both outrage and hope in equal measure.

This year’s theme, ‘Centering Women’s Voices’, felt especially urgent in these deeply unsettling times. We’re proud that PinPoint gets to play a small part by volunteering time on Women Employed’s Marketing Advisory Board, but even prouder to stand with an organization that refuses to be silenced.

As one speaker reminded us today:
“Women Employed will not be silenced.”

Another:
“We are battle-armed and battle-worn.”
“This administration’s actions are unconscionable - but not insurmountable.”

This work is hard. The damage being done will take generations to repair. But in that room today, surrounded by women who carry equal parts exhaustion and determination, it was clear - we have the sheer grit to stand up and fight back and our movement will not be ended by the strike of a pen.

Happy Monday, pin people! Thank you for celebrating another women’s month with us. Thank you for sharing your friends, colleagues, and community with ours. Today we’re closing out the month with our very own founders and Faith Hurley. Stacy and Faith have decided to carry out one of this month acts into next month.

and Faith genuinely try to live most of these acts on a regular basis, but let’s be honest, it’s not too hard to convince them to buy a plant, or go for a long walk, or promote the skills of a woman they admire, but the one that they communicated they will be doing today is bringing it full circle by going back to the very first activity — give someone your favorite book.

They plan on sending a client a book, “Think by Design: Celebrating Design Thinking and Experiential Learning,” authored by none other than PinPoints very own Dr. Stacy Neier Beran. Stacy and Faith know that this client will appreciate the super practical tools like the provided templates and checklist that they can actually use with their team will encourage them to go even further in their design, thinking mindset and the continued reinforcement that not knowing is all part of the process.

Happy Friday! Thank you for celebrating another week of phenomenal woman with us! Today, we asked to celebrate a little lady in her life, who she knows will do big things! Robin chose her daughter, Juno.

“My 2 1/2-year-old daughter Juni is smart, compassionate, inquisitive, a social butterfly 🦋, and stinkin’ cute! (no bias here 😉)

We must uplift our little ladies — it sure stick with them! For example, I’m trying not to say things like, “are you sure?” or tame her curiosity because I’m always in a rush. To celebrate her, we’re having a slow morning — playing in the rain while singing a Juni original, “ rainy, rainy, rainy, rainy in the sky,” and eating her favorite food: muffins.”

We’re so grateful for sharing her experiences with goal setting! One of the rewards of goal setting is keeping your word to yourself and seeing the goal through. It gives us momentum to keep going.

Setting goals you can attain without self judgement is a hack to getting things done. Here’s what has to say about it:

“Goal setting can be very difficult for many of us. I find it particularly hard to set good SMART goals, maybe because of undiagnosed ADHD or maybe because it feels like it’s own mountain to climb.

These days I prefer to write down goals not just as something to achieve but as a reminder of intentionality. These goals will be a daily reminder to be mindful about how I choose to spend my time over the next 30 days and the next 9 months of the year.”

As we continue to celebrate all things forward this week, we asked to make a list of goals that she would like to accomplish. Her response reminded us to make plans for our passions.

“To celebrate women’s month, I decided to start planning a trip I knew would be the experience of a lifetime; Australia! I’m looking forward to expanding my cultural knowledge and being immersed in all of the natural beauty found on the countless beaches in the iconic Great Barrier Reef. I’m fortunate and incredibly grateful to work for a company like BIG creative, who understands my passion for travel and learning through experience, and is allowing me to take the time for myself on this trip.”

In honor of all the woman out there eager to do the same, I would encourage you to take that leap of faith and jump into the fun head first! They were always being an excuse as to why the time isn’t right, but if not now, when!?

“Today, I mailed a congratulatory card to Botogà Colombia to my colleague, collective member, and close friend Natalia Silva Soto. would not be what it is today without Natalia‘s inspiration and dedication. This year she has truly proven that her creativity, patience, resourcefulness, and strength can overcome anything. When a health scare threatened everything, she did not panic! Instead, she found joy in the little things, taking up crafting and tai chi and connecting with friends until she could go back to more strenuous activities. Last week she fulfilled a lifelong dream of climbing Mount Everest. I am so proud and happy to have her in my life and on my team.

We’re closing out the week with some much-needed inspiration on how to get out of our comfort zone! Today founder of is sharing the value of leaving our comfort zone:

“Operating out of my comfort zone feels very exposing; however, every time I do, it reveals different processes of myself to me. I realize that whenever I feel doubt it’s because I’m pushing myself beyond my comfort zone. I’ve been preparing to share the skin stories of the clients of service. I want to educate, connect, and learn from the community I’m servicing and building.”

As the work week winds down, it might be a good time to reflect on our self-care practices. remind us to fine-tune our self-care practices as needed!

“Self care to me goes beyond the glitz and glam. It’s about inner fulfillment. It’s taking the time to sit in with myself, check in, and truly acknowledge how I’m doing. It’s honoring my needs, whether that looks like rest, reflection, a shift in ambiance, quality time with community, or even something frivolous— but at its core self care is about understanding the why behind what I’m feeling, and what I need it’s an ongoing commitment to showing up for myself with intention grace and honesty.”

Today, we’re honoring women’s month by celebrating growth! Plants are a reminder that growth takes time, care, and support. Here’s what has to say about growth:

“Always happy to add more plants — for the sake of self-care and womankind! This time I picked up a Burrow’s tail— a delightfully fluffy plant that only needs water every few months. I also love investing in my garden with seeds, Hardy, local plants, and beautiful flowering blooms. Here’s to growth in all forms.” 🪴

We all know how important it is to unplug! Today, Hannah shared with us how she does just that:

“Unplugging and going on walks with friends and loved ones gives us a chance to connect and be present for each other. I love my weekend walks in the suburbs with my mom.

She came to the US as an immigrant, and earned a professional degree in her second language. She’s a leader in our community and I couldn’t be more proud of her!”

How do you unplug!?

Welcome to week three of our Women’s Month Calendar! Week three is our receive week, where we focus on gifting ourselves with grace, affirmations, treats, and anything that helps us celebrate, and remind us that we should be proud of ourselves!

We’re kicking off the week with how she treats herself! 🍦

“.zito ice cream has been my sweet tree of choice for years. Owned by a couple Gabby and Ben, .zito list of amazing ice cream flavors goes on and on. While I’ve tried and loved many different flavors, it’s hard for me to pass up on a pint of “Marvelous, Mrs. Hazel” or “Animal Frosting.” I first visited their uptown Minneapolis location during the pandemic with a coworker who kept telling our whole team how amazing their ice cream was. Since then, it’s been a part of celebrating that every day, as well as momentous occasions, including being the dessert at our wedding rehearsal, and a treat our family brought to the hospital when our son was born.”
